Cooking Ingredients for Chocolate Pistachio Cannolis Recipe
1/2 pk (11.5-oz) Nestle Toll House
-milk chocolate morsels
1 ct (15-oz) Ricotta cheese
2 pk (3-oz) cream cheese;
-softened
2 tb Sifted confectioners sugar
2 tb Chopped citron
1 ts Vanilla extract
12 Prepared 5-inch cannoli
-shells
1/3 c Finely chopped pistachio
-nuts
Chocolate Pistachio Cannolis Preparation
Melt over hot (not boiling) water, Nestle Toll House milk chocolate morsels; stir until smooth. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature. In large bowl, beat ricotta cheese until smooth. Add cream cheese, confectioners” sugar, citron and vanilla extract; beat well. Blend in melted morsels. Spoon into cannoli shells. Dip ends in nuts. Chill until ready to serve. Makes 12 cannolis.
