4 c French bread; cut in cubes
1-1/2 c Apples; green or red
-delicious, or a mixture
1/2 c Raisins
1-1/2 c Skim milk
3 Egg Beaters Real Egg
-Product;, (3/4 cup)
3/4 c Sugar;, (or 1/2 cup sugar +
-3 packets Sweet n Low)
2 tb Liquid Butter Buds
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Nutmeg
Apple and Raisin Bread Pudding Preparation
In a 2 quart casserole that has been sprayed with a non-fat cooking spray, combine bread cubes, apples, and raisins; set aside. Combine milk, Egg Beaters, sugar, liquid Butter Buds, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg; pour over bread mixture. Bake 350 degrees for 45 – 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm with Dream Whip or non-fat frozen yogurt on top, if desired.
