Cooking Ingredients for Chocolate Turtle Cookie Squares Recipe

1-3/4 c Flour
1 c Sugar
1 c Butter
3 tb Butter
1/3 c Cocoa Powder
1-1/2 c Pecan Halves
1/2 c Brown Sugar
3/4 c Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Chocolate Turtle Cookie Squares Preparation

Heat oven to 350. Combine flour, sugar, 1/2 cup butter and cocoa. Blend till dough ball forms. Press into ungreased foil-lined 9×13 pan. Arrange pecans on top. Press down slightly. In small saucepan combine remaining butter and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat till boiling. Boil 1 minute stirring constantly. Pour over dough. Bake for 20 minutes or until toping is bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle on chocolate chips. DO NOT spread. Cool on wire rack. Cut into squares.
