Cooking Ingredients for Classic Chicken Salad Recipe
3 c Shredded chicken
1/4 c Cashews
1/4 c Pecans
1/4 c Sliced celery
1/4 c Sliced green onion
1 Tart green apple
2 tb Golden raisins
3 tb Chutney
1 c Mayonnaise
1 ts Paprika
2 ts Curry powder
1 ts Lime juice
Cayenne
Garlic salt
2 sm Cantaloupes
Classic Chicken Salad Preparation
In large bowl combine chicken, cashews, pecans, celery, green onion, apple & raisins. Blend together chutney, mayo, paprika, curry powder & lime juice. Mix together with chicken mixture. Season to taste with cayenne & garlic salt. Chill. Flute & seed cantaloupes. Fill bowls with chicken salad. Sprinkle with more paprika for garnish. Approximately 8-12 minutes.
