Cooking Ingredients for Cocoa Pecan Torte Recipe

2/3 c Margarine or butter
1-1/2 c Pecans, ground
1 c Sugar
3/4 c Cocoa
1 ts Almond flavoring
ds Of salt
3 Eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c Chilled whipping cream
1 tb Powdered sugar
12 Whole pecans

Cocoa Pecan Torte Preparation

Preheat oven to 375. Grease round pan, 8×1-1/2 Heat margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Stir in ground pecans, sugar, cocoa, almond flavoring, salt and eggs. Pour into pan. Bake 25 to 28 mins. or until toothpick test comes out clean. Cool 10 mins. Loosen side form pan, remove and cool completely.
