1/2 c Sugar
2 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Salt
2-1/2 c Flour
2 c Pecans; finely chopped
Powdered sugar to roll

Cocoons Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla; add flour and salt; blend thoroughly. Add pecans. Shape into 1 ovals. Bake 20 minutes, or less, at 375F until very lightly browned. Roll in confectioners sugar immediately. Cool completely, store in covered container packing confectioners sugar around the cookies.
