3 lg Ripe nectarines, peaches or
-plums
2 tb Rum (optional)
1 c Sour cream
1/4 c Brown sugar
2 tb Sliced almonds or hazelnuts
Continental Baked Fresh Fruit Preparation
Cut fruit into halves and remove pits. (Peel nectarines or peaches, if using.) Arrange, cut-side up, in 9 inch lightly buttered pie plate or 6 individual ovenproof dishes. Sprinkle with rum. Spoon sour cream over fruit. Sprinkle with sugar and nuts. Bake in 350oF oven for about 20 minutes or until sugar melts and nuts brown lightly. Serve hot. Makes 6 servings.
