1 ts Salt
3 tb Oil or bacon drippings
1 c All purpose flour
1 ts Baking soda
2 c Buttermilk or sour milk

Corn Lightbread Preparation

Combine dry ingredients; blend in milk and oil. Spoon into lightly greased 9 X 5 loaf pan. Let stand 10 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 mins; let cool 5 mins before removing from pan.
