Cooking Ingredients for Corned Pasta Recipe

1 tb Olive oil (or cooking oil)
1 lb Lean ground beef
2 c Chopped onion
1 sm Green pepper, chopped
28 oz Canned tomatoes, with juice,
-mashed
12 oz Canned kernel corn, drained
3/4 c Water
8 oz Wagon wheel pasta, uncooked
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1/4 ts Garlic powder
1/4 c Sliced black olives (opt.)
1 c Grated medium Cheddar cheese

Corned Pasta Preparation

Heat olive oil in large saucepan. Add ground beef, onion and green pepper. Scramble-fry until onion is soft and beef is no longer pink. Add next 8 ingredients to beef mixture. Mix. Cover. Simmer gently for about 8 minutes until pasta is tender but firm. Stir occasionally. Stir in cheese and serve. Makes 8 cups.
