Cooking Ingredients for Cottage Stew Recipe
1-1/2 lb Lean beef; cut in 1 cubes
2 tb Flour
2 tb Butter
2 tb Corn oil
2 Celery ribs; cut in chunks
1 c Beef stock
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1/2 ts Dried thyme
1/2 ts Dried marjoram
1 ts Prepared mustard
2 tb Fresh lemon juice
3 tb Chopped parsley
Cottage Stew Preparation
Brown meat in butter and oil. Combine meat and remaining ingredients, except lemon juice and parsley, and place in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
