Cooking Ingredients for Crab Soup Recipe

1-1/2 lb Crab meat
1/2 tb Mushroom sauce
2 Hard boiled eggs
1/2 tb A-1 Sauce
1 qt Milk
1 pn Nutmeg
1 tb Butter
1/2 c Heavy cream
1 tb Flour
1/3 c Sherry

Crab Soup Preparation

Mash hard boiled eggs with fork. Add butter, flour & pepper. Bring milk to a boil & pour it gradually onto well mixed paste of eggs, etc. Put over a low fire & add crab meat (w/bits of shells removed of course!) & simmer for five (5) minutes. Add cream & bring to a low boil. Add salt, sauces & sherry & heat. Serve. (NOTE: Do NOT boil after sherry has been added!) Serves: 6-8 Volume 01 Number 565 by LSHW <shusky@erols.com> on Jan 20, 1998
