Cooking Ingredients for Creamed Chicken over Beans Recipe

1/4 c Butter or margarine
1/4 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1-1/2 c Water
1/4 c Milk
1 ts Chicken bouillon granules
2 c Cooked chicken; cubed
16 oz Pkg. frozen cut green beans;
-cooked/drained
Paprika; optional

Creamed Chicken over Beans Preparation

In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add water, milk and bouillon. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Add the chicken and heat through. Serve over beans. Sprinkle with paprika if desired. Yield: 4 servings. Recipe submitted by Louise Martin of Denver, PA, who say that this simple but tasty blend will surprise you.
