2-1/2 lb Red potatoes, peeled and cut
-into bite-size pieces
1/4 c Butter or margarine
3 tb All-purpose flour
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Ground black pepper
1/2 ts Garlic powder
2 c Milk
Creamed Potatoes Preparation
Place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender; drain in a colander. In same saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisking constantly, add next 4 ingredients and cook 1 minute. Whisking constantly, gradually add milk and cook until thickened. Add potatoes and stir until well coated. Serve warm.
