Cooking Ingredients for Crescent Sloppy Joes Recipe
1/2 lb Ground beef
2 tb Chopped onion
1/3 c Ketchup
1 ts Prepared mustard
1 ds Pepper
1 oz Shredded Cheddar cheese;
-(1/4 cup)
1 cn (8 oz) Pillsbury
-Refrigerated Crescent
-Dinner Rolls
1 Egg; beaten
1 ts Sesame seed
Crescent Sloppy Joes Preparation
Heat oven to 375 F. In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in ketchup, mustard, pepper and cheese. Separate dough into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal. Press or roll each rectangle into an 8×4-inch rectangle. Cut each in half crosswise to form 8 squares. Place about 2 rounded tablespoonfuls ground beef mixture on center of each square; fold dough over filling, forming triangle. Press edges with fork to seal; cut small vents in the top. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush with beaten egg; sprinkle with sesame seed. Bake at 375 F. for 11 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. 8 sandwiches Serving Size: 1 Sandwich.
