20 oz Vodka; 80 or 90 proof
2 ts Orange essence
1 ts Orange vegetable coloring
1 c Sugar; white, granulated
Water as needed
Water to make 1 quart

Curacao Preparation

Note: Please use the best available grade of water. Dissolve the sugar in just enough good water or distilled water to dissolve it. Boil to form a heavy syrup. Allow mixture to cool. Add the vodka slowly, stirring well to mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Store until needed.
