Cooking Ingredients for Curry Crackers Recipe

3 tb Margarine
1-1/2 tb Onion, minced finely
1 ts Garlic, pressed
3/4 ts Grated ginger
1-1/2 ts Cumin
1-1/2 ts Coriander
1-1/2 ts Turmeric
1/2 ts Cayenne
2 c All purpose flour
1 ts Salt
1/2 c Water, approximately

Curry Crackers Preparation

Preheat oven to 325F. Melt margarine in a small frying pan. Add onion, garlic & ginger & saute until the onion is translucent. Add spices & stir fry for 1 minute. In a large bowl, combine flour & salt. Add spice mixture & blend well. Slowly add as much water as is needed to make a dough. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions & roll out to 1/16 thickness. Cut into 2 shapes & prick with a fork. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until crisp. Cool on wire racks. Serve with dips. Foust & Husch, Crackers!
