1 c Chopped nuts
4 Egg whites
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Chopped dates
1/2 c Sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Cookie crumbs, any kind

Date Torte Preparation

Beat egg whites until light but not stiff. Fold in sugar. Continue beating until smooth. Add flavoring and salt. Fold in nuts and dates. Pour into well-oiled spring pan, lined with cookie crumbs.
