1 Spice cake mix (2 layer)
1/2 c Dates
1/2 c Walnuts
2 Eggs
15 oz Jar applesauce

Applesauce Spice Cake 2 Preparation

Toss 1/4 c of the cake mix with the dates & nuts. Add the rest of the mix wiith the eggs and applesauce. Beat ”til smooth. Add date mixture. Mix. Pour into 9X13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes. FOR the frosting: 1/2 c butter, 1 pkg confectioners sugar, 2 Tbs lemon juice, 4 tsps water Beat together until smooth.
