6 tb All-purpose Flour
2-1/2 c Light Cream or Half-n-Half
2 c Cheddar Cheese; Shredded
1/2 c Bread Crumbs
8 md Potatoes; Cut into Bite Size

Delmonico Potatoes 2 Preparation

Today”s Recipe is a fantastic potato side dish that will make a great addition to your recipe files. Thank you JC Wilder for sending in your recipe! Cook potatoes until tender and drain. Melt half the butter or margarine in saucepan and add the flour to form a roue. Add the light cream or half-n-half. Bring to a medium boil, the sauce will start to thicken. Add half of the cheese and stir until melted. Add potatoes and stir until blended. Pour into 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Melt remaining butter or margarine and mix with bread crumbs and last cup of cheese. Sprinkle over top of potatoes. Bake at 350-F degrees until starting to brown. Serve with beef or chicken or anything! This makes a great dinner party side. This dish was always requested with Prime Rib at our Christmas Parties. Enjoy!
