1 c Sugar
2 c Flour
3/4 c Butter
1 c Coconut; flaked
1 Egg
1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
1 Jar; (10 oz.) apricot
-preserves
Apricot Coconut Squares Preparation
Notes: Peka Joe Daniels, Lansford, The Times, PA Mix together with fork all ingredients, except apricot preserves. Press 3/4 of the batter in the bottom of a 9×13 pan. Spread apricot preserves on top. Spread rest of batter over apricot preserves with fork, letting some of the apricot show through. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes until a light golden brown.
