Cooking Ingredients for Double Delicious Chocolate-Orange Cake Recipe
4-1/2 c Flour; well sifted
3 c Sugar
1-1/2 ts Soda
1-1/2 ts Salt
3/4 c Cocoa
1-1/2 c Oil
3 c Water
3 tb Vinegar
1-1/2 ts Vanilla
2 tb Fresh grated orange peel
Double Delicious Chocolate-Orange Cake Preparation
Mix all dry ingredients in one bowl. Add liquid ingredients. Mix until well blended. Pour into three 8 inch round pans sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes, remove layers from pans and cool COMPLETELY. Spread filling between layers. Spread top and sides of the cake with Chocolate Orange Frosting.
