Confectioner s sugar or

Dried Fruit Sauce for Fresh Fruit Preparation

Bring water and apple juice to a boil; pour over cherries and steep for as long as possible. Sweeten to taste if need be with sugar or honey. Serve hot over ice cream, fresh fruit or cake.
