Cooking Ingredients for Apricot Nut Loaf Recipe

1 c Sugar
2 tb Shortening
1 Egg
3/4 c Milk
3/4 c Orange juice
4 ts Grated orange rind
3 c Flour
3-1/2 ts Baking powder
1 c Finely chopped dried
-apricots
3/4 c Chopped nuts

Apricot Nut Loaf Preparation

Combine sugar, shortening and egg. Stir in milk, juice and rind. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and add to other mixture. Combine apricots and nuts; add to batter. Pour into greased loaf pan and let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
