Cooking Ingredients for Enchilada Sauce Recipe
2 tb Oil
1 md Onion; minced
3 c Tomato sauce
1/2 c Water
3 Cloves garlic; minced
1 tb Chili powder; or more
1 ts Salt
Enchilada Sauce Preparation
Saute oil and onions in heavy saucepan. When onion is just yellow, not brown, add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer at least 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Put in blender & puree.
