Cooking Ingredients for Enchiladas #1 Recipe

1-1/2 lb Ground beef
1 cn Enchilada sauce
1 cn Water
1 Clove garlic; chopped
1 Onion; chopped
1 pk Flour tortillas (8 to a
-package)
Grated cheese
Shredded lettuce; avacado
-slices and picante sauce

Enchiladas #1 Preparation

Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Add enchilada sauce and sauce can of water. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Dip tortillas in juice in skillet. Put a heaping tablespoon ground beef mixture and grated cheese in tortilla. Roll and put open-edge down in casserole dish. Pour remaining hamburger mixture and juice over enchiladas. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly. Serve with shredded lettuce, avacado slices and picante sauce on top, if desired. From a collection of my mother”s (Judy Hosey) recipe box which contained lots of her favorite recipes, clippings, etc.
