Cooking Ingredients for Aromatic Rice Recipe
8 oz Basmati rice; (225g)
1/2 ts Salt
A pinch of Schwartz Saffron

5 Schwartz Whole Green
-Cardamoms
1 ts Schwartz Fennel Seeds
6 Schwartz Whole Cloves
1/2 Schwartz Cinnamon Stick
3 Schwartz Bay Leaves
1 oz Unsalted butter; (25g)
Aromatic Rice Preparation
Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold running water. Place in a large pan of boiling water together with the salt, Saffron, Cardamom, Fennel Seeds, Cloves, Cinnamon and Bay Leaves. Cook, uncovered, for 12 – 14 minutes or until the rice is tender. Drain and rinse in a sieve with boiling water. Gently stir in the butter until melted.
