Cooking Ingredients for Far East Crab Cakes Recipe
2 6-Oz cans lump crabmeat –
Drained
1/2 c Water chestnuts – finely
Chop
1/4 c Soft breadcrumbs
1 tb Plus 1 t. dried parsley
Flakes
1/2 ts Pepper
1/2 ts Dark sesame oil
3 tb Reduced-caloire mayonnaise
Vegetable cooking spray
Lemon wedges – opt l
Green onion fan – opt l
Far East Crab Cakes Preparation
Combine first 7 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well. Shape crabmeat mixture into 8 patties. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot. Add crabmeat patties, and cook 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides, turning once. Transfer to a serving platter. If desired, garnish with lemon wedges and green onion fan.
