First Snickerdoodles Preparation
Preheat oven to 375~. Combine flour, cream of tartar, soda, nutmeg, & salt. With an electric mixer at medium-low speed, cream the butter, & 3/4 cup sugar until light & fluffy. Reduce speed to low, & beat in flour mixture until well blended. Combine cinnamon, & remaining 1/3 cup sugar. Roll dough in to 1 balls, then roll in cinnamon mixture. Place on ungreased baking sheet, about 2 apart & bake until lightly browned, about 10 min.
