Cooking Ingredients for Artichoke Tetrazzini Recipe

8 oz Packaged linguine pasta
1 c Sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 c Chopped onions
2 tb Butter or margarine
1/8 ts Dried thyme
2 tb All-purpose flour
10-3/4 oz Canned broth
1 c Half and half
6-1/2 oz Marinated artichokes
1/4 c Freshly grated Parmesan
-cheese

Artichoke Tetrazzini Preparation

Marinated artichokes are the centerpiece in this pasta dish. Recipe can be doubled for a larger crowd. 1 Cook linguini in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender. 2 Meanwhile, saute mushrooms and onion in butter or margarine with thyme. Remove from heat. Stir in flour. Then stir in broth and half and half. Return to heat, and stir until the sauce boils and thickens. Strain artichokes, and stir the liquid into the sauce. Add the fresh Parmesan. 3 Drain linguini, and toss with sauce. Fold in the strained artichokes. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings Recipe by: 4/6/99 Converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.
