Cooking Ingredients for French-Style Bean Rounds Recipe

15 oz Kidney Beans; Drained
4 tb Flour
1 tb Vegetable Oil
1/3 c Water
1 Clove Garlic; Crushed
1/4 ts Chili Powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
Vegetable Oil; For Frying
Grated Cheddar Cheese;

French-Style Bean Rounds Preparation

Combine well-drained beans, flour, 1 tbsp oil, water, garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Heat skillet; brush with oil. Spoon 1/4 cup batter at a time, spreading into a circle about 4 in diameter. Cook over medium heat until brown on bottom and dry on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese, if desired. Remove from griddle.
