4 tb Cornstarch
1/2 c Sugar
1 c Water
2 tb Butter
6 c Fresh peaches; peeled,
-sliced
1/2 c Sugar
1 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1-1/2 ts Baking powder
1/4 c Butter; softened
1/2 c Milk
Fresh Peach Cobbler #1 Preparation
Combine cornstarch, 1/2 cup sugar and water in saucepan. Bring to boil, remove from heat and add butter. Add peaches. Pour into 9×13 pan. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in butter. Add milk, mix well. Top peaches with crust mixture. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
