Cooking Ingredients for Frosted Applesauce Recipe

1 pk (3 oz.) lemon flavor gelatin
1-1/2 c Hot applesauce
3/4 c Pineapple juice
1/4 c Sugar
1 tb L;emon juice
1/8 ts Salt
1/8 ts Nutmeg
1/8 ts Cinnamon
1 Egg white; stiffly beaten
1/2 Crushed pineapple; drained

Frosted Applesauce Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in hot applesauce. Add pineapple juice, sugar,lemon juice, salt,and spices. Fold in egg white and pineapple. Spoon into sherbet dishes and refrigerate until set. Makes 8 servings.
