Cooking Ingredients for Fruit Medley Recipe

1-1/2 lb Mixed dried fruits
2-1/2 c Water
1 c Sugar
1 tb Honey
Peel of 1/2 lemon – cut
Into thin strips
1/8 ts Nutmeg
1 Cinnamon stick
3 tb Cornstarch
1/4 c Cointreau

Fruit Medley Preparation

Put dried fruit into slow-cooking pot. Pour in water. Stir in sugar, honey, lemon peel, and spies. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. Turn control to high. Mix cornstarch in small amount of water; stir into fruit mixture. Cook on high for 10 minutes or until thickened. Add Cointreau. Serve warm or chilled.
