Cooking Ingredients for Fruit n Nut Granola Recipe

4 c Regular oats
1/2 c Sliced almonds
1 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 ts Salt
1/3 c Honey
1/3 c Molasses
1/3 c Water
2 tb Vegetable oil
Cooking spray
1 c Chopped pitted dates
1 c Raisins

Fruit n Nut Granola Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 325o. 2. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl, and stir mixture well. 3. Combine honey, molasses, water, and oil in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; pour over oat mexture, stirring well to coat. Spoon mixture onto a jellyroll pan coated with cooking spray; spread evenly. Bake at 325o for 40 minutes or until lightly toasted , stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven; stir in dates and raisins. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 6 cups (serving size: 1/2 cup).
