Cooking Ingredients for Fruit Pudding 2 Recipe
1 c Flour
1 c Sugar
1 ts Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 Egg
1 cn (16-oz) fruit cocktail
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 c Brown sugar
3/4 c Pecans; chopped
Whipped cream
Fruit Pudding 2 Preparation
Sift together the first four ingredients. Beat egg lightly; blend in fruit cocktail and juice and vanilla extract. Pour into dry ingredients and stir well. Pour into square greased pan. Sprinkle top with brown sugar and pecans. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut in squares; serve with whipped cream. From <A Taste of Louisiana>.
