1 lb Prunes
1/2 lb Dried apricots
1/2 lb Dried pears or apples
2 c Water
2 tb Honey
3 tb Brown sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/2 lb Sweet potatoes, peeled and
-sliced
Fruit Tzimmes – Compote Preparation
In a large mixing bowl, presoak all the fruit overnight. Drain the water. Pit the prunes. In a medium sized saucepan combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil.
