Cooking Ingredients for German Cole Slaw Recipe

1 Head of cabbage; shredded (I
-chop it in my food
-processor)
2 md Onions; cut in rings
1 Green pepper; chopped
1 Jar pimento; chopped &
-drained
1 c Sugar
1 c White vinegar
3/4 c Canola oil
1 tb Salt
1 ts Celery seeds (up to 2)

German Cole Slaw Preparation

Combine cabbage, grn. pepper, onion & pimento in large bowl. Mix sugar & celery seed into this mixture. Combine vinegar, oil & salt in pan & bring to a boil. Pour immediately over cabbage.
