Cooking Ingredients for German Crisps Recipe
2 c Brown sugar
1 c Spry or margarine
2 Eggs
1 ts Soda
3 c Flour
1 ts Vanilla
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Chopped nuts
German Crisps Preparation
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Beat well. Add soda and salt to flour. Add vanilla to creamed ingredients, then flour mixture and nuts. Form into long rolls. Place in refrigerator overnight. Slice thin and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until light brown. Watch carefully that they don”t get too brown.
