Cooking Ingredients for Aunt Lina s Carrot Cake Recipe

1-1/3 c Sugar
1-1/3 c Water
1 c Seeded raisins
2 tb Butter
2 lg Carrots; grated
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Cloves
1 ts Nutmeg
1 c Walnuts
1 pn Salt
2 c Flour
2 tb Baking soda

Aunt Lina s Carrot Cake Preparation

Put sugar, water, raising, butter, carrots, cinnamon, cloves & nutmeg into a saucepan & boil slowly for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat & allow to become perfectly cold. NEVER USE WHILE STILL WARM!
