Cooking Ingredients for Grilled Veggies Recipe
2 lg Vidalia onions; quartered,
-(or other sweet onion)
3 Thin green zucchini squash;
-unpeeled, sliced thick
1 lb Sliced mushrooms
1 Red or yellow pepper; sliced
Grilled Veggies Preparation
This is one of our favorites and comes from CHEZ PATRICK – our house! These ingredients are for about 4 people, but can easily be modified for company. Cut a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil and spray with olive oil. Put the veggies in the foil and salt and pepper. I also use some basil and Mrs. Dash seasoning. Seal foil tightly and grill on low for about 1/2 hr. Check for doneness – may need a little more time. No need to add water, they make their own juice. Great for camping, too!
