Cooking Ingredients for Healthy Muffins Recipe
1-1/2 c Hot water or apple juice
1 c Applesauce
1/2 c Honey
1/2 c Raisins
1 c Unbleached white flour
1 c Whole wheat flour
1 c Oat bran
2 c Oatmeal
1-1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Pumpkin pie spice
Healthy Muffins Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix hot water, applesauce, honey, and raisins together and let rest for 10 minutes. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix. Do not overbeat. Pour into a nonstick muffin pan and bake for 35 minutes. Let rest in the muffin pan for 5 minutes after removing from the oven to make them easier to remove from the muffin pan. Recipe by: McDougall Quick & Easy Converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.
