Cooking Ingredients for Holiday Nuts Recipe
10 oz Giant pecan halves
24 oz Deluxe mixed nuts
1 Egg white
1 c Sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 lb Butter
Holiday Nuts Preparation
Place nuts in a 9 x 12-inch cake pan. Roast at 225 degrees for 30 minutes. While roasting, beat egg white stiff; fold in sugar and salt; fold nuts in. Melt butter at 350 degrees in a 9 x 12-inch pan; pour coated nuts to coat. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees, stirring every 5 to 10 minutes, then drain on paper towel.
