1 tb Melted shortening
2 Eggs, well beaten
1/2 c Corn-meal
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Baking powder
1 c Milk

Hominy Corn Bread Preparation

Combine hominy, shortening, eggs, and milk. Add corn-meal, salt, and baking powder. Let stand 5 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon more of milk if desirable.
