1/3 c Shortening
1/2 c Milk
2 Eggs, beaten
1/2 ts Cloves
1-1/2 ts Cinnamon
1-1/3 c Honey
1 c Raisins, chopped
1/2 ts Salt
4 tb Baking powder
3-1/2 c Flour

Honey Hermits Preparation

Cream shortening & honey together; add eggs, and mix in. Add milk, salt & raisins; mix well. Sift & mix dry ingredients together; then mix into batch. Drop by spoon on greased pan.
