1/4 c (packed) golden brown sugar
6 Thick lemon slices
24 Whole cloves

Hot Whiskey Punch Preparation
Someone requested some Irish beverage recipes recently, but I can”t find that newsletter. Here are 2 recipes from May 1996 Bon Appetit magazine-p. 124, 188. This issue focused totally on the country of Ireland and it”s cuisine; I loved it-cover to cover. I must admit that I have a liking for that great Irish beverage export-Bailey”s Irish cream (on the rocks);-) Mix whiskey and sugar in pitcher to dissolve sugar. Divide among 6 heatproof glasses.
