1/4 c Marsala
2 tb Sugar
1/2 Cinnamon stick
1/2 ts Grated orange peel
Vanilla ice cream
Amaretti or other cookies;
-crumbled

Ice Cream with Marsala And Currants Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in heavy small saucepan. Boil until syrupy, stirring frequently, about 10 minutes. Cool slightly. Discard cinnamon. Scoop ice cream into bowls.
