Cooking Ingredients for Idaho Potatoes Bolognese Recipe
3 sl Bacon, pieces
1/2 c Chopped onion
1 Stalk celery sliced
1 Carrot sliced
1 lb Ground beef
1 pk (5.5 oz) au gratin mix
1-1/2 c Beef broth
2/3 c Water
2/3 c Milk
2 tb Tomato paste
1/2 ts Lemon rind
Idaho Potatoes Bolognese Preparation
This is a very rich recipe, sometimes a tad greasy, but the taste is wonderful. In medium skillet cook bacon til lightly brown. Add onion, celery adn carrot, cook til tender. Stir in ground beef and cook til brown. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boiling. Turn into buttered 2 quart baking dish.
