1/2 c Milk
1/2 c Butter or margarine
3 tb Cocoa
3 c Oats; rolled (raw), (not
-Quick kind)
1/2 c Peanut butter
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/2 c Nuts
Janet s Boiled Cookies Preparation
Mix sugar, milk, butter, cocoa and boil for 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients at once. Drop by teaspoons full on waxed paper and let cool. Makes about 3 dozen. Source: Heather Smith. Janet was a cousin who made a great hit serving these at an enormous family picnic in the ”50s.
