1 c Sultanas (golden raisins)
5 oz Butter
1 tb Golden syrup (karo)
1 ts Ground ginger
2 c Flour
1 ts Mixed spice
2 ts Baking soda

Pour into a large bowl and cool well. Sift in the flour and baking soda. Spoon into greased loaf tin. Bake 45 mins. to 1 hr. at 170 degs C.
