1 Loaf frozen white bread
-dough, thawed
1/2 c Your favorite pie filling
-(apple, peach, blueberry or
-cherry)
2 tb Stick margarine, melted
Powdered sugar (optional)
Kolaches 2 Preparation
Put dough in greased bowl; cover & let rise. Punch dough down & cut into 12 pieces. Place in 13x9x2-inch nonstick baking dish. Cover with moist towel & let rise in warm place for 25 minutes. Make a 1-inch depression in the center of each piece. Place a heaping teaspoon of filling in the depression. Brush the rolls with melted margarine. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden borwn. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving Yield:Makes 12 Kolaches Per Serving: 138 Cal; 4 g Fat; 17 g Protein; 17 g Carbohydrate; 211 mg Sodium; 0 mg Cholesterol.
